Washington Wizards star guard Bradley Beal has had an incredibly productive -- and historic -- start to the 2020-21 NBA season. Beal has played in 16 games for Washington so far, and has scored at least 25 points in each appearance. In the process, Beal became the first player to score 25-plus points in each of his first 16 games of a single season since Michael Jordan did so in the 1988-89 season. Considering Jordan is widely considered to be the greatest player of all time, Beal is clearly in some good company.

Thats right ladies and gentlemen...Prime Jordan in his hayday is = to Bradley Beal on the 2021 Washington Wizards....Beal also accomplished this feat without having the benefits of playing against movie theater ushers on a nightly basis like "his Airness" Michael Jeffrey Jordan

Congrats to Mr Beal and to the legendary Michael Jordan

That was the Jordan that didn't know how to win though. That was the Jordan who was despised by his teammates. It's not really a compliment.

Jordan was 8-8 over his 16 game stretch and Beal was 4-12. Their combined efforts led to a 12-20 record.

Whoop dee f***ing doo.

Doug Collins was fired after that season and Phil Jackson promoted. The first thing Phil Jackson did was this:

"Basically I was planning to ask Michael, who had won his third scoring title in a row the previous season (1988-89), to reduce the number of shots he took so that other members of the team could get more involved with the offense."
