Jokic is an amazing player, but it's hard to put this guy as a top 5 player in the league. He has so many games where he scores so few points and fizzles out. I know it's happening less this season, but I feel like that's the case with him.
Lol windhorst was shown to be quite capable of doing what king kong did several years ago; coming back from 1-3 deficits in the postseason. Just not in the finals doe.

Quite the contrary. He is a player who is able to dominate the game despite only scoring 15, despite taking only 13 shots. Swiss army knife. You as a Curry fan should be the first to acknowledge this actually, they are more or less the same in that way.

You're discussing offense, which is usually not an issue with him. His issue is that he offers zero rim-protection when he's on the court, which is what all great centers usually offer plenty of.

He affects the game in other ways but nearly every game he doesn't score much/isn't aggressive vs a top side, his team looks toothless offensively.

LeBron is clearly the better player. That said, they do have something in common:
Often when they score, they make it look so easy that you wonder why they can't just do that every possession.

Gasol can defend Jokic. But Jokic would eat Harrell. Size difference is pretty big.

I'm not going to dog pile on Jokic. He's a fantastic player, and I would love to have him on the Lakers. Reasonable fans aren't trying to compare him to all-time greats.
Did someone really call Jamal Murray Mo Williams? Yikes. That MJ eye for talent evaluation right there folks.

That's why its funny... I remember you making an appeal to authority in that thread about how many games people attended. You said it's a joke for the common man to give his opinion on whatever subject matter, given said individual doesn't attend games like GM's do. Yet here you're mocking Michael Jordan's talent evaluation ability when the guy has attended thousands and thousands of games.
2009 Mo Williams
18/4/3 on 47% shooting
2021 Jamal Murray
19/5/4 on 45% shooting
Wow bro... peep that staggering difference.

well murray's having a bad year a lot due to an elbow injury. The guy also put up 26.5/6.6 on 62.6ts% in the playoffs last year, those are numbers mo could only dream of, hell kyrie's never had a playoff run with numbers that good(ik bubble yada yada).
Murray's not what makes denver good though. they have 7 10ppg guys and will have a good top 8-9 rotation for the playoffs and qanon durant is a scoring talent. The 09 cavs had 4 and could only rely on their starters so not comparable lol. balance of talent(no superteams) plays a part in team results in 09 vs this year but we know you dont actually believe jokic is even in the conversation with peak lebron.

be careful, Tpols just threads above claimed Tim Hardaway = Mo Williams. little does he know Tim Hardaway was 4th in MVP voting in 1997

You clearly missed my point. I laughed at the fans who are quick to throw advanced stats at you without having watched the game/series to “win” an argument. Yet are some of the same ones who don’t attend games or even enjoy games in a game threads since they are so busy typing up a storm. Ignoring the eye test completely (it too can be flawed if you base an entire argument on it and nothing more) is what I don’t get here. So I see people in the how many games have you been too thread and it’s “never”, “maybe 1-2”. But you’re in threads throwing advanced stats ending it with not up for debate? Makes me chuckle. Especially in game threads where I catch folks arguing nonsense without just watching the game on tv. Learn and understand bud.

What makes Denver good is Jokic. He's a 7 foot Larry Bird. They'd be lotto without him. Just like the '09 Cavs would be without LeBron. Murray and Mo would be lotto leaders because they're both just fringe all star talents. It would be impossible for their teams to make the playoffs with those guys as their best players.

Jamal is avg 18-19ppg this season and Mo was putting up 18 ppg around that time. Other stats are comparable given the inflated stats now. Mo was an all star at the time. Jamal has yet to make all star. Not outrageous

I've never seen a more overrated player lol... these guys are acting like Murray is Kobe or something. Him and Mo have literally... the EXACT same stats. And Murray is a horrible defender. It's a damn shame he's being hyped as some superstar while Mo is considered a bum when their productions are the same. And it's even easier to put up numbers today.

Who would you draft if they were rookies. Mo Williams or Jamal Murray.
Your answer here pretty much determines how idiotic you are.
Mo williams highest playoff ppg (western conference finals) = 14 ppg.
Jamal Murray highest playoff ppg (western conference finals) = 27 ppg.
Not the same calibre player at all.

Yeah but it didn't happen. Jokic scored less on Harrell than he did on Gasol. Combined he scored 6 points total on both, and Gasol and Harrell defended him the most.
Harrell matched Jokic in scoring too in this game off the bench.
Can't just credit those two though. It was the Lakers team defense that really shut off Jokic.

09' Mo turned the Cavs from 45-win bums to 66-win league favorites, and he'd average Jamal Murray numbers in today's game
Mo led the league in 3-point make per game, so his 3-point prowess and ball-handling was similar to Jrue Holiday caliber
