Chef Dingo with a Jumbo Sized game. 57 points on 31 shots.

Another Mandingo Moment. Currently leading the league in 50 point games.

Size matters.

Zero impact on the other side of the ball. That's the difference between steph and the other great scorers in the history of the game. Most of them had a huge impact on defense and/ or another aspect of the game. Steph is similar to dame. They can score with the best of them but they're a liability when it comes to the other half of the game.

We can all see that Kerr has to restrain Steph's minutes and the refs have to be parsimonious with the free throws they give Steph to give opponents a chance. Steph is clearly unfair. The Cheatcode can only be held back by anti-Cheatcode tactics.

Kerr took too long to bring him back in the 4th.

Curry only had 8 Free Throws. Scored 49 points from the field. Would like to see the stats on how often people get 50 with no free throws.

Don't know about the past two years but when I last looked at a list of all players in history who averaged 20 or more points per game Curry averaged the least number of free throws attempted.

Curry had a 51-point game with one free throw. I think he may have been the first for that.

Was really unlucky tonight. Playing against a firing Doncic and Dallas team that has overall way more talent and still managed to drag this sorry ass team to within a stones throw from victory. Could have easily had it if not the typical Ref blunder in the final minutes.

That was a tough break. Was right in front of the ref too.

Shouldn't be a surprise that 3pt specialists don't get to the line as often.

44% of Curry's shots are two pointers. So he does a ton of work besides 3's. It's funny though... his first two seasons 68% of his shots were inside the arc. You can see a progression throughout his career where that constantly whittled down. And thats when he unlocked Dingo mode.

His defense was bad in this game... 131 DRTG. For perspective, Dray was at 111... much better. Still, he had a ridiculous 148 ORTG. That is perposterous and outweighs his defensive performance by +17. Gigantic margin. But in his championship runs Chef had DRTG's that were sub 105. That's elite. And his splits are always elite as well. His offense massively out ranks his defense. He could be a Steve Nash level defender, and still give superstar impact.

Kelly Oubre lost them this game with his awful 89 ORTG and 136 DRTG. That's -47. You could've put me in the game, and I would've done better than that.

How many players his size are better than him all time? Maybe none?

He's a top 20 GOAT and the only guy I can think of that is the smallest after him is maybe Dwayne Wade? He's similar height but like 30 lbs heavier though. Bob Cousy was definitely smaller than him but no way he's better than Chef.

Honestly drtg is shit bro. Theres been players with drtg below 104 that are terrible defensively. Jj Reddick had a drtg of 102-104 for a couple years and he's terrible defensively.

And yeah stephs offensive impact obviously makes up for it. Thats why imo he's a top 15-25 all time. That's still pretty sick.
