47 in a loss to Toronto
44 in a loss to Spurs

he's played in 112 playoff games. very unusual that his high scoring regular season moments fall off a cliff once he reaches the post season. never the less, very interesting

to put things into perspective, players with 40+ point playoff games:

Michael Jordan 35
Lebron James 26
Kobe Bryant 13
Kevin Durant 11
.
.
.
Russell Westbrook 7
John Wall 2
Stephen Curry 2

I became less concerned about Steph's statistics after I read some things that his coaches and teammates said about him in terms of being "genuinely" unselfish and how much of a wonderful and positive thing that is to both of those groups.

With the way Steph's Warriors were winning - they are considered a dynasty after all - who cares that he didn't have more 40 point games?

If that didn't need to happen to become a dynasty then what are you complaining about?

Steph and Durant both aren't playoff resilient scorers, that's why they needed to stack the deck to win

[Note to all interns: the above is an example of the delusions suffered by PCTSD patients. Easily verifiable facts that can easily be checked contrary to the sufferers beliefs are actively overlooked to maintain their fantasy. Stephen Curry for example had 40-point games against the Pelicans and Rockets in the 2015 playoffs but ostensibly these are not accounted for because they were victories and clash with the sufferers version of reality. It is recommended to let PCTSD patients carry on though with their misguided beliefs since correcting them may provoke belligerence and cause them distress as the difference between their fantasy and reality may cause existential anguish.]

while that was painfully cringe to read despite the exhausted effort, it still doesn't dismiss that stephen curry has only 2 playoff games over 40 points.

uh...so?

Ain't a soul in the world ranking him above the first 4. Ain't a sane person arguing that the latter 2 are better than him.

He won 3 rings and went to 5 straight Finals on a team with an offense built around him. Stacked as they were, they fall apart without him. So who cares?

Because he didn't want to take away the shine from his other players! He's a team player!

Ain't a soul in the world ranking him ahead of Durant? Not sure about that

OP is highly insecure. Curry has had four other games in the playoffs where he has scored exactly fourty points.

Fact is Curry is one of the best playoff and finals scorers ever by PPG and efficiency.

I rank him ahead of 3 of those first four. Only 2 out of those four have scored 60 in their careers and Curry scores much more efficiently. Curry just tied Bernard King with 8 50-plus games in their career which is 11th all-time.

You’re retarded though, your opinion is irrelevant.

it's too bad the playoffs won't allow 14 seeds so stephen curry can acquire his first iconic playoff moment. until then, regular season curry it is

I'll give you that, some will debate, but their playing styles are very different. You don't always need volume shooting from Steph on those championship Warriors teams and even when you do, you do it through motion offense so everyone benefits from the spacing he's creating. If the offensive strategy doesn't yield 40-point games from Steph as often as it did for KD or Kobe, no one cares as long as they win.

There's definitely alot they do and they have good arguments. Best way to look at it is i'd take steph when it comes to getting to the finals but I'd take kd when it come to a winning it.
