.
2018 Celtics.... team of rookies... 1 all-star.... #7 SRS.. underdog
1989 Cavs...... team of veterans.. 3 all-stars... #1 SRS.. favorite
Jordan had 2nd year Pippen (14/6/3), while Lebron had the best 2nd option in the conference and perennial all-star Kevin Love (18/9/3) - and they were defending conference champs
Ultimately, who cares about carry-jobs against bad teams - only carry-jobs against good teams matter (top 5 SRS) and lebron has none

Lebron similarly struggled during his first years in the East and West (lottery)

Since we're picking random rounds, how did he do in the ECSF against the 1-seed that year?

0-9 I said.
Did I get it right?
Can someone correct me if I am wrong?
3ball knows. I am sure he can confirm 0-9.

ok you got this one wrong lets try another one
anyone knows jordan record against his main rival Larry Bird?
Pippen's bulls without mj = 55 wins
Jordan's main finals rival was karl malone
lebron 2016 >>> all of mj's rings combined

It's impossible to lose when your 2nd option destroys their 1st option
So lebron gets knocked for needing 7 games - he only needed 7 because he wet the bed thru 4 (24 and 6 TO's)
You won't here any of this yet on TV but it's the truth.. lebron's 16' ring was very easy

I knew you'd post that.
Kyrie wasnt an allstar that year if I use your twisted BS logic.
Lebron beat a 73-win team with zero allstars
Jordan was ON the 70+ win team (pippen won 55 games without jordan)
Meanwhile lebron is the only player in NBA history who BEATS the 70+ win team
I win :)

Not so random actually
Many people think the 18' run to the Finals was lebron's best "carry-job"
But it was against bad teams - who cares about carry-jobs against bad teams?..
Otoh, the 89' Cavs had 3 all-stars and the #1 SRS, so they were better than any team lebron beat in the East - yet MJ beat them as an underdog and low seed, with no help on either side of the ball (#11 team defense and 15 on 40% from Pippen)..
Otoh, lebron lost as the league favorite to Dwight's 1-star Magic, despite more help on both sides of the ball (#3 defense and 18 on 38% from Mo)
Ultimately, Lebron never beat a top 5 SRS team with poor scoring and efficiency from a sidekick (no carry-jobs against good teams in 2 decades of playing), whereas MJ did so 5 times (96' Finals.. 98' Finals.. 98' ECF.. 97' ECF.. 89' 1st Round)

Mo shot 37%.

Mo averaged 3 more points than Pippen with about the same efficiency
So Jordan beat a better team than the 09' Magic with less help on offense and defense (bulls had #11 defense... Cavs had #3)

Doesn't change the fact that you constantly get busted fudging the numbers.

It's a routine meltdown after waking up realizing Michael Jordan is #2 all time behind LeBron ever since Oct 11.

#2 in what?
Rings? Nope
Offense?.. Nope
Defense?... Nope
Money?... Nope

I think Lebron beating Pistons in 07 is more impressive than him beating 2018 Celtics. And thats a much better comparison against the Cavs series. Both young in their careers at the time.

Hmmm.. looks like you got me
Mo shot 37%, not 38%
And Pippen shot 40% but averaged 3 less points..
Ultimately, both shot 51% true shooting

1-star teams were routinely winning the conference (Iverson, Dwight and Kidd)
And the 07' Pistons were trash:
2007 Cavs...'. #7 SRS.. 50 wins.. 2 seed
2007 DET...... #6 SRS.. 53 wins.. 1 seed
1989 Bulls.... #10 SRS.. 47 wins.. 6 seed
1989 Cavs...... #1 SRS.. 57 wins.. 3 seed
the 89' Cavs were better than any team Lebron beat in the East, and Jordan beat them with a low seed underdog
Ultimately, lebron has zero wins against top 5 SRS teams with poor scoring and efficiency from a sidekick (no carry-jobs against good teams in 2 decades of playing)
