Yeah for sure. I just think that's how they'll always be defensively unless they make some significant trades. It's not a situation where they can just get better. They have to many weak links. I honestly think they would of been better off not getting harden and just keeping what they had

The Nets are a bad team. Numbers don't lie. A 14-12 record, 29th ranked on defense, 27th ranked in turnovers and ranked first in allowing 2nd chance points. Those are all effort categories and the Nets play with zero effort and zero urgency. It's a shame because they are gifted in so many ways on offense and they are letting all of this talent go to waste simply because they refuse to play any sort of defense.

They relly will be fine once they get Durant back. They are a strong contender to win the East though I wouldn't pick them in the Finals as currently constructed. Should trade Kyrie Irving for a rim protector and perimeter defender if possible but Durant can still dominate anyone and having Harden as a second option is about as nasty as having Curry as a second option. There is nothing to be done about that kind of firepower they just maybe need to be a bad defensive team instead of the absolute worst defense of all time.

They're not trading their key pieces nor firing their coach this season. If they don't do anything in the playoffs, I think Nash is the first to go and Kyrie a possibility depending on what they get/if KD is ok with it.
