Impressive but who knows what other greats would do in the weakest era ever. Kind of hard to compare

None of the ball hog chucker shooting guards are putting that up :coleman:
I don't get it, kobe averaged 28/6/6 in '13 as a 34 year old? Only took over ballhandling duties midway trough the season too.

So he didn't average 25/7/7, noted.

I actually respect the hell out of Lebron's stats up until 2015. In his career prior to then, there was actually defense being played in the NBA. In recent seasons stats are greatly overvalued to the point where 25/7/7 isn't even impressive.

Every game LeBron does something we've never seen before.
He's in uncharted territory. A trailblazer. The first of his kind.

No one with a crabwalk has played like this before. And trailblazer indeed in forcing superteams. Now he has that legacy followed by the likes of KD. Let's see what the future holds.

A Lebron led team has the best defense in the NBA right now by a huge margin :facepalm
He also lead all Small forwards in Defensive RPM last season and this season so far..
The LeBron doesn't play defense narrative need to stop, yes he had some runs like in the 2018 regular season where he wasn't as active on defense but overall especially since he's joined the Lakers his defense has been excellent overall

Why give a damn about eras?
Dimensions of the game and the look of the league are bound to change whether we like it or not. And, at the end of the day, we're comparing these achievements and statistics to the whole history of the league, not the time in the league that we remember as kids. Time will tell which achievements and records truly endure—like Wilt's rebounding records or Kareem's total points or MJ's scoring titles or Sheed's techs—but we can acknowledge or even celebrate achievements as they happen.
Stats are subjective anyway. Even with how advanced they've become, they still don't represent all that happens on the floor.
That said, if someone went off and scored 101 points this weekend to break Wilt's virtually unreachable single-game scoring record, would you be complaining the next day about how weak the current NBA is, or would you embrace the fact that someone actually scored 101 points in an NBA basketball game and we were alive to see it??
