Pedro is a great actor... after all its not easy for a latino (or latinx in he/his case) to pretend to be woke

He's a great actor, but the story was absolute garbage in the sequel. Completely lost interest in the series after. Good luck to the team though. I've always thought Jackman would have made an incredible Joel looks/acting wise if you've watched Prisoners and Logan.

Loved the story, thought it was as good as the first.

The girl who played Lyanna Mormont on Game of Thrones has been cast as Ellie.

Great choices here. Not too far off of a look for him either, very much optimistic on this

I'm not gonna go on a rant about it because I had a lot of issues with it, but it seemed like a lot of interesting ideas executed very badly. I don't care all that much about the main thing people were pissed about since I always imagined Ellie would be the star and potentially only playable character if there ever was a sequel.
The game had bad pacing (was about 10 hours too long), not memorable characters, and story beats outside of flashbacks and a few moments were pretty bad. Everything else was incredible though, which is why the game was still an 8/10. I can't get hyped for the story, but that maybe changes once the trailer drops.

Totally agree with this. One of the biggest problems was trying to jam all that story into such a tight window. Not counting the flashbacks, prologue, epilogue type stuff, the main arc of the game takes place over like four days.

The only thing is Pedro is hispanic and his voice doesn't sound anything like Joels. Why didn't they choose someone closer?
