Even though there's been one "pandemic" the last 100 years, in 1918, and it was essentially a blip on the human radar (and due to limitations in living conditions and medical understanding in 1918 was inherently more dangerous than the same outbreak would be today)... we need to start a global overhaul to address future pandemics.

Mr. Gates makes a point of implying future pandemics will be a regular part of life:

"By the next Pandemic, I believe we can have what are called Mega Testing Diagnostic Platforms. They can be deployed quickly, cheaply, and test 20% of the entire population every week."

"We also wanna get treatments out far faster, next time."

"To stop future pandemics quickly, we need to be able to spot disease outbreaks as soon as they happen. Anywhere in the world. And that requires a global alert system."

"Stopping the next pandemic will be a big investment. But I think of this as the best insurance policy the world could buy."


Well, there we have it. Our new global mission!

Not gonna type up any thoughts on the matter personally, because after all I am retired!

But just thought you guys might appreciate knowing Mr. Gates is doing everything he can to protect your health. Covid was unexpected, severe, and INCREDIBLY scary. Heck, posters like rufuspaul are STILL hiding under the bed. And with good reason!

But rest assured, this nightmare global pandemic apocalypse, if we can ever get through it (due to our shameful lack of adequate preparations, THANKS TRUMP) will not happen again. Because Mr Gates is on the job, and we are all gonna buy in, rally, UNITE under his and Joe Biden's leadership, and change our lives in whatever way they seen fit, in order to protect ourselves.

Because, remember, you have not been had. The Usual Suspects' intuition was right on the money from the very beginning - as always!

The thing is, too, I'm not totally opposed to ALL the changes this is going to bring. I think having more people work from home when possible makes sense from a traffic and space standpoint. This might also be the excuse SJW's finally accept for keeping border restrictions tighter.

This is basically the plan of the top 1% of Earth's intellectual and financial leaders to attempt to usher us into a new future, without the public resisting it due to a preference for old habits, or spite, or random whims etc. I certainly don't like all the changes. Some I don't mind. But as you said, this is such an obviously 9/11-esque circumstance to basically just push the public forward into a new era whether they like it or not.

And obviously we could have more say in the matter if people WANTED to have more say. As JtotheIzzo once put it, I've typed out the equivalent of War and Peace a hundred times over on ISH, trying to talk about things like this so we can figure out as everyday people what makes sense. But hardly anyone participates. Miller Time just shrieks some shit about islamaphobia, and bladefd cries about orange man. Highwhey antagonizes people randomly when he gets lonely. Real Men Wear Green gives perfectly mainstream media viewpoints and BurningHammer wails about the scary pandemic. It's like talking to robots. They can't analyze anything that isn't programmed into their software. You can only persuade them to accept things they dont understand with terror attacks or pandemics.

So you can see why people who are "in charge of the world" so to speak have to resort to these measures. People can't be reasoned with. You have to basically trick them and push them. If you're in the top quadrant, you're not gonna be able to explain everything to the bottom quadrant, because they're inherently more unsure, irrational, emotional, and incapable.

So this is what we get.




I think I'm finally... FINALLY at peace with it, and able to just accept the changes I can't stop, and move along.

What can you do? The usual suspects are wildly cheering all of this on, purposefully tuning out or attacking any sort of outside viewpoint that doesn’t align with theirs. It doesn’t look like things are going to change anytime soon either.

I think it’s about that time for a retirement.

I think this is very silly. A conspiracy theory. They don't need to orchestrate a pandemic just to make changes such as keep people working at home. People were already starting to work at home, before the pandemic. People were getting used to that just like they were getting used to smart phones.

If we all start getting UBI, then maybe I'll believe it. But I don't believe they created a long pandemic just to get people to work from home.
