View Full Version : Too much overacting in shows and movies these days

There's so much competition in shows these days with all the streaming and everything. And because of that the pacing is faster, but actors look like they're trying harder. Everything has to be dramatic, even when it doesn't seem natural. I blame this to technology. People don't have patience or attention span anymore. They only want to watch dramatic things and because of that it forces actors to compromise and over act.

Also, I hate how most movies are all about CGI. So fake. I watched this movie about the world ending and it looked incredibly fake. The older movies like the older Terminators looked more real. They looked natural and weren't over done. Does Hollywood know that their stuff looks fake?

Better overacting than underacting, though
