Surprised there was no thread on this game. Just got done watching it.
Haven't watched the Pels yet this year. Zion has clearly lost weight. His speed and power taking it to the rim were scary. They are giving him the ball in space more this year and letting him work. Guys were playing off him daring him to shoot jumpers but he wouldn't take the bait. Just kept taking it to the rim. Somehow scored 36 with only one missed shot. Rebounding still sucks though.
Ingram had good numbers but was pretty quiet late. Still he is a legit all star who shoots well from everywhere.
Doncic's big problem on offense has been forcing up too many step back 3s. He still took 8 3s last night but seemed more selective. There was only one time when he took a 3 and I thought it was a bad shot. Usually I think that several times a game. His skill with the ball is just ridiculous. He just needs to cut out some of those forced 3s.
KP can take all the 3s he wants. Nobody can really contest his shot and he is a proven shooter. 8-13 from 3 last night.
Last year carlisle dismissed it when asked why he doesn't get KP in the post. This year they are clearly making it a point to get him catches in the post. Once he gets it he can turn and shoot over anyone.
