Lakers are the best team when healthy but Davis having achillies issues is the first domino in a chain reaction that may cost the Lakers a second title.
Davis now must rest. This is shades of Durant's achilles injury.
LeBron will have to spend more energy and he's old.
Gasol will be depended on more, he's old.
The Lakers will spend much more energy to secure a decent seed and must depend on AD coming back 100% to return to form for the post-season...and LeBron may be gassed at that point.
As good as LA is... NOTHING IS GUARANTEED.
