View Full Version : Lindsay Graham says Kamala could be impeached in 2022

Lindsay Graham asserts Kamala Harris could face the same fate as out-of-office Donald Trump.

Sen. Lindsey Graham is taking aim at Vice President Kamala Harris with a warning that she could be impeached if Republicans take over the House of Representatives in 2022.

Speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” Graham said Democrats “opened Pandora’s box” by pursuing a second impeachment trial against President Donald Trump for incitement of insurrection related to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He contends that since Democrats supported impeaching an out-of-office Trump, Harris could face similar charges for supporting donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund last summer, which bailed out Black Lives Matter protesters amid the fallout over the May 2020 death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers.

“And if you use this model, I don’t know how Kamala Harris doesn’t get impeached if the Republicans take over the House,” Graham said, New York Post reports. “Because she actually bailed out rioters, and one of the rioters went back to the streets and broke somebody’s head open. So we’ve opened Pandora’s box here, and I’m sad for the country.”

Back in June, Harris took to Twitter to urge her supporters to donate to the fund.

“If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” she tweeted.

The fund reportedly secured the release of convicted violent criminals, including a suspect who shot at police, a sex offender, and a woman accused of killing a friend, according to Fox News.

“If you’re going to pursue this, and you want to start calling witnesses, and you want to drag this thing out, it would be fair to have Kamala Harris’ tape play where she bailed people out of jail,” Graham said.

“What more could you do to incite future violence than to pay the bail of the people who broke up the shops and beat up the cops?” he added. ”How’s that not inciting future violence? Be careful what you wish for my Democratic colleagues, be careful what you wish for.”

“The president is a handful, and what happened [at the Capitol] on 6 January was terrible for the country. But he’s not singularly to blame,” Graham said. “Democrats have sat on the sidelines and watched the country being burned down for a year and a half and not said a damn word, and most Republicans are tired of the hypocrisy.”

Person A - is in office, incites violence while in his official capacity, lies & spreads conspire on how he actually won election in landslide before it was stolen.

Person B - was not in office, was not even campaigning at the time and was not even in talks for vp when comments were made. Republicans had majority in senate and white house but didn't even call her out on it. Fast forward to mid-February of the following year to threaten to impeach her as vp in 2022 for comments she made in 2020 when she was not even campaigning.

And you think the two cases are the same? OK, bring it to the floor when you can, Graham. Going to laugh you out of the room, low intelligence toolbox. There might not even be a republican party left standing then if Trump decides to start the Patriot party :oldlol:

Trump did not incite violence. A few idiots acting on their own is not him inciting violence. And btw, he was acquitted.

Biden should also be impeached for his China dealings and for interfering with Ukrainian prosecutors who were going after his son for money laundering.

That said, no real point in doing so unless Republicans can take back the Senate and gain more in the House (perhaps taking that too) in 2022. Then the gloves should come off.

I don't think Graham is an idiot, just highly cynical and dishonest. You could video edit a coherent 3 hour debate out of his statements on Trump before and after the Republican Nomination 4 years ago.

The people that actually buy into his bs, now they are idiots.

I dont disagree about Graham being a typical self-serving two faced politician.

But I guess I just... when I see someone like you... typing something like the bolded...

I mean...

You can see how that's a bit awkward, right?

I'd be honestly very curious to know how much of an idiot you think/realize you are.

I know you'll either ignore this post or just dismiss it with something cringeworthy, but I really wish I could get a truth-serum response from you on this.

Because obviously I know the answer is you possess a significant degree of idiocy and ineptitude. Which you naturally make an effort to conceal from others on a message board environment. But I'm curious what your self perception is deep down. Are you fully aware of the inadequacy of your hollow projection of wokeness, or do you harbor a genuine self delusion that youre insightful? Because what you say is objectively not smart. But I think you believe others will think it is. I'm just not sure whether YOU think it is, or youre simply satisfied fooling the bottom 20% or so by saying what may come off as learned to them.

Not that I think you have greater insights you're not revealing. You're definitely posting at your max level. Boiled down, my question is do YOU think what you're posting is intelligent, or do you realize it isn't very intelligent but simply dont care and choose to post it anyway?

Very curious.

Why do you care so much about the opinions of someone you go out of your way to disrespect? I hate you, you hate me, why communicate? Your obsession makes no sense. Feel free to go play in traffic.

Because I need to understand YOUR psychology, in order to adapt my own social/political positions accordingly, ya feel me?

Can you be made better and more aware through dialogue? Or are you truly maxed out and unwilling and unmotivated to improve? For our views to be more aligned - in theory producing greater harmony - you would have to move up. I can't move down. I can't suddenly "not know" what I already know. Right? Living beings dont naturally cap their own abilities. That's why everything is always changing and evolving. Because the capable grow and lead us forward. Humans will always compete and use the individual abilities they have. If YOU'RE not getting better, no political system can ever save you. But I'm not sure if you understand or have admitted this to yourself.

Ideally we could agree on politics, for the sake of stability, and instead compete recreationally on the basketball court, on the chess board, in the recording booth, in the marketplace, at the poetry slam, or wherever our various talents lie.

But I fear that you may not have any other talents, and therefore resort to compensation thru 'wokeness,' leading you to be misled by political wolves in sheeps clothing, to the detriment of us all. And obviously that is a very relevant concern to myself and many others.

So I'm very invested in knowing whether you actually want to improve in meaningful ways, so that you don't have to resort to joining irrational, easily exploitable political movements for the sake of self esteem... or have you already resigned yourself to that kind of spiteful, contrarian, runner-up mentality?

Funny how Graham and others are overrating Trumpism. They recently lost the WH, senate and House because of it. Things are already looking promising can't wait for this spring/ summer. If they want to double down on it go right ahead it worked really well for them.
