Of course there is intelligent life out there, so much we don't have a clue on what's in our own galaxy, much less in other galaxies in our neck of the woods. The observable universe is beyond our comprehension in terms of just how massive it is, encompassing countless stars and planets that have the capabilities to harbor life. I think the idea that life from a distant solar system has travelled here on phyiscal spaceships is one of the least likely explanations for UFOs. Obviously the most likely explanation is that they are experimental human aircrafts... but IMO aliens are also far less likely than the idea that UFOs are a product of humans who figured out how to travel through time or through the multiverse or something.
