NBA 2K generation

Is it just me or does todays style of play resembles the game a little? I see the influence. No soul, 3 pointers, drive for layup or kickout for another three, shoot from half court basically, superstars with zero fundamentals. I don't know.

Actually it’s more basic than that. It’s NBA jam.

3 or dunk. Anything else is considered an inefficient indulgence. I was the guy to take hook shots on nba jam just for a laugh. Today’s players would be perfect for those games though.

Nba2k? Nah. I play the game a lot. There are similarities but the game is basically 5 out and 2-3 zone. Rinse repeat. 2 man game pretty much. NBA Jam is accurate. 3’s or dunks, the in between game is nonexistent.

What about the inbetweens as individual scorers on nba 2k? I never played it much. I remember it as not really being midrange friendly, people were playing the extreme 3 point chucking game on 2k and live before it turned that way in reality. I think.
