It's not that I'm surprise we choked. Every time we have a big lead going into the half time we take our foot off the gas and start chucking as usual and playing lazier on defense. The surprising part is that Monty Williams still keeps letting this team make the same mistake over and over and not making any adjustment when we're bleeding runs left and right. Also D Book being 100% nonexistent in the 2nd half is surprising. Wtf happened to him? And how many bricks does Jae have to shoot for Monty to realize that maybe he should take away his green light and actually tell him to drive to the basket instead of chucking 3's?

Booker showed the bad side those kobe comparisons with that 4th qtr tonight. Just bad possession after bad possession. Happy to see houston harden for once. Never seen a bigger case of diminishing returns than harden on this nets team. Combination of the big 3 demanding so much usage and harden and kyries lack of offball effectiveness. Went from scoring like 43 per 100 to 29 per 109 which is a ridiculous dropoff.

yeah, not a fan of the slack monty gives the team as a whole. it's a green light all night long to shoot 3s even when they aren't falling in. at certain times, like the 3rd quarter where we couldnt buy a bucket, a drive to the basket would be more ideal than chucking 3s. and booker is figuring it out, but he's still an awkward fit on the offense. i think he's struggling with his new role. he went from carrying the entire offense to being a secondary piece.

it annoys me that the entire offense comes to a halt in unison. i understand our shots will not always go in, but when we can't score, even floaters or layups are missed. it's a mental thing i think.

i wish he'd call timeouts whe our lead goes from 20 down to 15 instead of waiting until it's in the single digits. by then the opponent has too much momentum and we've blown more than half the lead.

The 2018 and maybe 2019 Rockets were championship level teams. They just had the misfortune of running into the Curry/KD Warriors. You're right that he doesn't need to score 25/30 a night to win on this team, however he absolutely does if Kyrie and KD are out. Also saying this is the best version of Harden is debatable. Don't get me wrong, he's absolutely amazing rn and playing like a top 5 player in the league. However, he's had better stretches before on the Rockets.
