It's not just about value it's about the fact you have to make him happy. If you don't he will put you in the same position he did Houston and that's not worth giving up talented young players that aren't giving you these problems.

Also I would value Murray just as highly. Not MPJ though...I understand that he is supposed to be a major talent but I wonder if this could end up being a Tim Thomas situation. I am probably wrong of course.

What position did he put Houston in? Leading them to the playoffs every year with a carousal of mediocre talent and only one year of injured Chris Paul? They ended up getting Oladipo for him, an all star talent. So if anything Harden parted ways amicably. As opposed to say Durant or LeBron who left their teams high and dry with nothing. 1: You completely misunderstood. I am referring to the antics Harden pulled to get out of Houston not how far the Rockets got with him as their best player. I do get tired of explaining things I write in English.

2: Tatum and Brown are both averaging over 25 and both still 24 or younger. No Harden is not more valuable than the duo combined.

They offered Victor Oladipo a contract extension.They would’ve loved Bam or Murray.
