The funny thing is that the reason he started taking those jumpers is to avoid CONTESTED jumpers

NBA.com stats show that he didn't take any contested jumpers in 19' or 20'

Imagine shooting 40 footers because you're afraid of contests on your jumper.. in Game 1 of the 2018 Finals, he probably preferred his open 40 footer over shooting that little 12 footer over Curry for the win.. lol
