Damian Lillard is a legitimate MVP candidate. What he’s doing without CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic can’t be denied. He’s carrying a load like no other star right now.

Lebron is MVP, no one else.

Unless he gets the 2nd or 1st best record in the league the case is closed.

Well, right now he's certainly a bigger candidate than Steph Curry, that's for sure. With that said, the Blazers have recently had a lucky streak of facing opponents who choked in the fourth quarter. First last night against the Thunder, and as for tonight's game against the Pelicans, you'll have to see the Pelicans' last offensive possession in order to believe it, if you keep in mind that the Pelicans were 15-32 from beyond the arc, Zion was a completely unstoppable 12-18 from the floor and Ingraham was choking all night.

Pretty sure the Blazers were up 20 on OKC. So it was the Blazers that let them back into it. Then OKC came back with Lillard on the bench resting. Then Dame came in and finished them off by hitting 4 threes in Dort's face. He's been doing those ever night recently. Blazers aren't making any miracle comebacks. They are just outplaying teams down the stretch.
