Will LeBron become the only player in NBA History to score over 40,000 points??

I think so. If you do the math, only injury could prevent him from achieving this insane milestone.

He can, but it will only get him to as far as 2nd greatest of all time.

He already surpassed balden.

All that effort and longevity and still not consensus goat. I can understand why he is goat to stans, but I do see that Lebron is never considered goat by the majority.

It's like working extended hours at the office on a program that another genius finished in a half a day. You're hoping that your effort will be enough to be recognized alongside the genius that you compare yourself to.

Surpassed him in 2016 and still going strong half a decade later. :applause:

He surpassed Magic years ago, virtually every all time ranking will have LeBron ranked ahead of him

Probably not. Are we ever gonna have a normal 82 game season again?

If he keeps on playing for title contenders like he's usually done before, then mostly yes.

Who even cares, really?

It's an empty longevity stat.

Give me all time averages and it becomes more interesting.

LeEmpty will spend the first 3 quarters of games trying to achieve these empty accolades because his finals record and on court skill doesn't put him anywhere near GOAT discussion

He needs less than 5K for this incredible achievement.
He already said that he plans to play until Bronny starts to play in the NBA, that is at least 4 more seasons after this one.
Assuming he plays 70 games per season over those 4 seasons, he will need to average less than 17 ppg over those 280 games to get to 40K.
And we're talking about a guy who is putting up his 17th straight 25ppg season at the age of 36. Only a serious injury can stop this from happening.

WHAT. A. GOAT. :applause:
