He ****ing learned it from Lebron, asshole. :facepalm
The difference is Luka's teammates were positioned much better, forcing the defense to give him a better angle. Whereas LeGirth's teammates were scrambling around helter skelter like chickens with their heads cut off, which makes his attempt infinitely more difficult.

Pfft. Bron did that in the conference finals, homie.
MJ and Kobe didn’t even do that. MJ never made a game winning three in the playoffs.
LeBron has the most playoff buzzer beaters in history with 5 - two of them were threes.
Jordan only had 3 playoff buzzer beaters and none were long distance.

They didn't commit an offensive foul with the game on the line?

He's a different beast. Bron dominates multiple aspects of the game, whereas Jordan dominates one.

That perception is what makes LeBron even more impressive IMO. Jordan is a pure-scorer, it's not shocking that he would be able to hit shots late in the game. LeBron has never had the game of a pure-scorer and he's still been able to dominate late in games (with more than just scoring) like few have.

Yep.
Didn't clank it like Bron did last night...and many times before.
And didn't defer to a teammate either.

That was a low pressure shot for Doncic because the game was tied.
If Luka misses, they go into overtime, no big deal.
LeBron's clutch bucket against the Wizards was more impressive because he was down 113-115 and absolutely had to make this basket.

Well, he had to absolutely make the basket before he drained the game-winner. Go to the 7:35 mark.

When Luka does it, there is composure and resolve. When Lebron does it, it is ugly, sloppy and unsure.

Why can't we just appreciate Luka's finish without bringing LeBron into it. Seems like almost every reply has been about lebron.
Luka's 3 pt percentage is up to 35% now after that bad start.

After the decades of unworthy comparisons we are finally seeing a guy that can be Larry Bird. Can't give this dude's game enough respect.

Not quite Bird because he isn't the mid-range maestro or the same caliber of passer that Bird was. He's also far too ball dominant for my tastes.

Don't be a cupcake. It was a tougher era... if defenders can push and hold, offensive players should be able to as well. The problem today is only offensive players can create contact so it's not balanced.

Luka plays nothing like Larry Bird. He's basically a white James Harden.

I'm guessing his postseason career clutchness will much more in line with Bird than Harden. But I agree, Bird had Anthony Davis length. If Luka had the reach of Bird, he'd be the next Lebron and a sure fire future top 5 player

Bird did not have AD's length.
Davis has a 7'6 wingspan. Larry Bird had the same wingspan as 6'4 Talen Horton Tucker.
Doncic has a longer wingspan than Bird.

Doncic plays like Bird in the sense that he's also a crafty, elite scorer with great vision. You could say that Harden plays like Bird in that way i.e. elite scorers with great vision.
Magic was a great passer, okay scorer. Jordan was a great scorer, okay passer. Bird was great at both. Doncic is great at both. Harden is great at both.
