Lebron colluded that year in MIA remember? He called up his buddies Wade and Bosh to make a superteam. Then felt so good about their chances that he predicted "Not 1, not 2, not 3...".

If by clone you mean Kobe. Kobe didnt have a stacked team that year that was supposed to wipe out the league, Lebron did. The Chosen One ended up choosing his teammates only to lose to Barrea, because he couldnt get it done in CLE in the first place.

Without excuses how would MJ have faired?

Hahah this bron stan - who masquerades as a Celtics fan - is 100% the most triggered by MJ on this forum.

So many mj threads.

He's been retired nearly 2 decades you loser hahahahaha

And is that all you have?
A what if?

Lets apply the 1991 pistons logic here. They were fading, tired from 3 straight finals and a back to back.

So... who was past it? 1991 pistons or 2011 lakers? Take a pick

Wait, are you insinuating now that the 2011 Mavs is a monster team that no one had the business of winning against? And that Lebron, even with his unique cast of superteam, unprecidented at that time, was excused to lose to this monster team made up of past it Kidd, Dirk and Marrion and supporting cast like Barrea?

If I say yes Jordan could have won against the Mavs there is no way you will agree and no way it can be proven. What we know is Jordan had the focus to go through 3peats, even as an older player in his second 3peat, with some lineup issues here and there. It's not certainty but also not unlikely that Jordan could have won with Kobe's cast against the 2011 Mavs.

2011 Kobe?? He was playing with one leg all season, 32mpg and didn't practice, had to get fluids removed out of his knees, middle of the playoffs series too. Also he was 5/7 in a 10 year span right before that sweep, 3 straight finals with Chris Bosh. ... i mean Pau.

The Heatles tho?

Well they are both ringless without tutelage from hof phil jackson. Let that sink in for a while.

Kobe at his peak was at most 70-80% of MJ in an average year, while he was already past prime with injured legs in 2011 so he wasn’t even 50% of MJ that year.

I'll need to ask is ONE. SIMPLE. QUESTION.

Does he have Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson? If not, there is no way he could possibly win. He never won shit with any other #2 option or head coach.

No Pip. No Chip.
No Jackson, No Action.

MJ's career = Shackled to Pippen
