I consider Oscar and Jerry to be shooting guards, but you could make an argument that they were quasi point guards.

Thomas has an argument for sure.
IMO Oscar was more of a combo guard, but one could make an argument that he was a PG.
However, John is not a top 5 PG of all time. He would barely crack my top 10 point guards of all time list.

Stockton doesn't belong in the top 5.
His peak was not impressive enough.
Lol at putting him above CP3, Kidd, and Nash! Gary Payton was also better than Johnny boy.

Stockton had more assists and steals than all of them. He was also a better shooter than all of them except for Steve Nash. He also has more playoff success. You're wrong and retarded.

1. Steph Curry
2. Walt Frazier
3. Magic Johnson
4. Jason Kidd
5. Steve Nash
6. Chris Paul
7. Gary Payton
8. Oscar Robertson
9. Isiah Thomas
10. Russell Westbrook

I value peak more than longevity. Stockton's peak was not as impressive as the peak of all of those other players.
He was a great low volume shooter, but he was never someone who could score in a dominant fashion when he needed to (every PG needs to be able to do that on a semi-consistent basis at least).
Stockton also had the benefit of playing alongside Malone.
You are wrong and retarded as hell.

Stockton is not a top ten PG of all time boyo.

This is one of the worst lists of all time :oldlol:
“The special one” indeed.
1. Magic
2. Curry (he might not be here yet but he will be so I’ll just go ahead and put him here)
3. Oscar
4. CP3
5. Nash
If you count Jerry West as a PG obviously he’d be on the list (replacing Nash and bumping CP3 down a spot and maybe Oscar too)

How is having a peak of around 17ppg 55fg% 14asts and 3spg not impressive? Stockton playing the game in a different way than his peers doesnt mean he was less impactful compared to those who focused on scoring more.

Oscar led the nba in assists like 9 times and gets called a shooting guard because he also scored....but then rank Curry as best point when his primary skill is shooting?
They both played the point. They are points.

The man is first in assist and steals by like a mile.
He also played all 82 games in 17 of his 19 seasons that is insane durability and longevity.
You are on crack if he doesn't "crack" your top 10 list.

He had great longevity, but his peak was not as impressive as other players on the list.
His lack of assertiveness in terms of scoring was his fatal flaw, and that was a reason why Utah couldn't win a championship.

He was a low volume scorer.
Being efficient on low volume is not super impressive.

Somewhat.

His unselfishness was certainly his one flaw. Still one of the greats
