That’s what the text said to me from the collegiate coach. And this tweet.

Retard ball.

I couldn’t refute it.

Beyond stupid. If Murray pulled up and missed a 3, it would've been sorta fine, cause dude has been balling recently. He didn't want to take the shot and passed it up, but at least one of the other three should've cut to get an open layup. Won't blame Murry, if I'm the coach. The others are getting reamed though.

Why would you hate that? It's hilarious. Entertaining.

I mean sure it could've been a layup we've seen 10,000 times but this development is much more fascinating.

Yep Murray looked like lebum out there when he passed the last second shot

Murray didn't have anyone to pass to. If MPJ had cut in (he was in the best position), it would have been an easy pass for Murray and sure 2 for MPJ. Agreed that Murray should take least of the blame here. I would blame MPJ the most.

I personally prefer the modern NBA a lot more.

The NBA of the 90s/early 2000s was unwatchable.

Watching a bunch of dudes shoot midrange jumpshots and post up incessantly is not fun.

They were looking to go for the win?

I would say threes and ISO ball both are killing the game right now. Part of the reason I stopped caring for the Warriors.

The midrange is non-existent (unless your name is Kawhi or KD). Big men are useless on the offensive end of the floor.

Eh, you’re always gonna have chokers and cowards in this league. It doesn’t say much about the modern game. Jamal was on the break, was in rhythm and had an open look to pull up. But he got scared and hesitated, then deferred to Campazzo of all people. Murray must have been studying lebrons game.

Why do people hate it? Any number of reasons really

But why I hate it is because I watch sports for the competitive element, and there is no trace of it left in the NBA. Lebron stacking the deck in Miami and KD's subsequent moves to keep up has ruined the league for me. To me these aren't elite athletes who will back their ability against their greatest competition, but just overgrown kids making a crazy lineup on NBA 2k and pressing simulate season to get their playstation trophy.

Same here. Once Lebron started that shit in MIA it went downhill from there. KD took it to another level. I like the competition. These athletes are supposedly more advanced as part of the natural progression of the game and yet this is the time they want it to be easier.

Boston kind of started it to be fair. Even though they had injuries and underachieved, KG/Pierce/Ray were still priming circa 2007-08.

Lebron one upped them then KD just shitted on the league and its fans.

Super teams and dynasties are good for the NBA.

You sound very misguided.

That makes zero sense.

Players are still competing against each other (that has always been the case).

Dynasties and super teams have been around throughout NBA history lol.

Quit being melodramatic. People enjoy watching dominant teams. There is nothing attractive about watching mediocrity.

Nobody liked KD joining a 73 win team besides Golden State fans.

You are delusional.

I (and many others) loved the move. The GSW obviously needed more help, and KD was the biggest reasons why the GSW became a dynasty. The team wasn't a dynasty before he arrived.

I for one, prefer a league with multiple contenders. More competitive teams to watch. The uncertainty in playoffs and the matchups. Competitive series' that reach game 6 or 7 in leiu of games where one team dominates into a sweep. That's like cheering on a bully to win. You already know what will happen.

I dislike it when one team is heavily favored to win and the others dont stand a chance. I hated that KD move to GSW.

Every year there are multiple contenders.

I loved the KD move to GSW. I admire him even more now than I did before.

It was just a dumb play. It happens.

As an old guy the thing that really bugs me is when an offensive player blatantly jumps into the defender and gets to the foul line.

That definitely needs a rule change. It's just penalizing defenders if the offensive player gets to initiate a foul and is rewarded for it.

Sometimes I wonder if the league would rather just have all offensive 150-140 games.

I think ppl hate superteams unless it's their team or favorite player lol!

The heat does draw viewers. Nothing like a good villain and watching them fail.

But what the Nuggets did was just playstyle. It was a dumb play.

Watching Indy @ Boston right now. Indy has taken five contested threes in their last seven possessions. Celtics do this too. It’s awful to watch.
