Y'all can give the award to whoever you want. The man doesn't give a shit. What matters to him is the Larry O'Brien trophy.

So why does he only have 4 chips if chips is all that matters?

No one has played longer or tried harder to win - he hand-picked a new cast every 4 years since 2010 to maximize his chances (Finals appearances)

He had super-teams from 11-17' but only 3 chips

Can he get out of the west again or was it just a fluke

Pretty sure he does care, as we saw last year.

Lebron always needs his equal-scoring partner to win the Finals or beat top teams - he needs a "1b" and can't win a Finals by averaging far more than his sidekick (dominating the scoring load)

So he can't beat good teams by dominating the scoring load or averaging 35+...

Too many long-dribbles simply LOSES, so lebron needs an equal-scoring partner to hit the tough shots.. he needs an elite 1st option to play sidekick because his own personal scoring ability is insufficient

reminder - 4 finals MVPs

only player with a finals mvp over a 70+ win team

only player with finals MVPs on 3 different franchises

broke the 50+ year cleveland drought and fulfilled the hype

consensus top-3 at worst

we won

^^^ but his rings are "1b" rings - he couldn't do that stuff with a true 2nd option that averages far less in every Playoffs

He needs a "1b" that can match or outscore him like the 11', 16', and 20' Playoffs

Rings with 1b < Rings with 2nd options

Teammate scoring matters because equal-scoring teammates attract equal defensive attention, so only Jordan faced "1-man team" coverage for his entire career (thus giving ultimate integrity to his #1 ranked PER, BPM, WS/48, VORP and PPG).

Kenny Smith talks about mj being the only 1-man show here:

You just keep shifting goalposts.

Of course that's what a hater would do every time his soul was taken the way yours was last year. AD has you in tears. :oldlol:

Would you still take KG though? Hard to argue with 4 (four [Quatro]) finals MVPs, no?

Yeah he does. He organized freeze out of you in Finals just so he could steal your finals MVP (which he was going to win regardless because crooked voters were in on the plot).

He organized a second freeze out of you in regular season just so it won't seem like Lakers have two MVP candidates. It backfired because you got hurt.

I'd take prime KG over any version of Bran because KG fits with anyone and elevates other good players

So KG mostly wins when he has good teammates, while Lebron mostly loses

Carry on

This from the same guy who constantly trashes Pippen's ppg & efficiency :oldlol: Why don't you compare LeBron's & KG's

Simplest conclusion is usually the right one;

LeBron wasn't good enough.

Jordan is the one with 1b rings. None of those teams that he beat in the Finals would be considered a team of legendary strength.

Lebron's cast had legendary strength

For example, Pippen wasn't capable of destroying a league MVP - but "elephant man" Kyrie Irving did

Heck, Lebron's cast was so legendary that Lebron himself was the "pippen" in the 2011 Playoffs (18/7/6 and frightened in the clutch) - but prime Wade couldn't win with that trash - only Jordan can win with Pippen

Finally, AD led the Lakers all year in 2020 and was the playoff scoring champ, while also leading the team in the critical series against the Nuggets.

So Lebron is the one with "not 6, not 7" cast - his opponents were struggling to keep up until bossman KD decided to dominate Lebron
