So Finals appearances are conference-dependant affairs that mean little without winning it
Carry on
when AD returns -

How many conference titles without ***?

How many conference titles without ***?
How many 1-star teams won the 80's East?... (super-team required to win)
How many 1-star teams won the 00's East?... (1-star teams won in 01', 02', 03', 07', 09')
So carry on with your life of misperception - Iverson, Dwight, or Lebron's garbage teams wouldn't stand a chance in the super-team East of the 80's
How many conference titles without ***?
the 90' Bulls had the #19 defense and Pippen was vastly inferior offensively to 05' Zydrunas - so the 05' Cavs had more help on both sides of the ball than the 90' Bulls, yet the Cavs were lottery and the Bulls nearly won the title.. Btw, Zydrunas was a top 5 rim protector with 2.5 blocks in 05'.
Similarly, the 09' Cavs had more help on both sides of the ball than the 89' or 90' Bulls, yet they lost to a 1-star underdog, while the 89' Bulls beat the #1 SRS team in the league (89' Cavs were a better team with more established all-stars than lebron ever beat in the East)
How many conference titles without ***?
Look at these players:
05' Zydrunas... 05' Hughes... 09' Mo... 10' Jamison...
All these Cavs were superior offensively to 90' Pippen, while the Cavs had the better defense and played in a 1-star conference (not a super-team conference like the 80's East)..
So Lebron had a lot more help and played very weak conference that 1-star teams were routinely winning, while Jordan had lottery help and played in a super-team conference

Nope, far from a guarantee teams like the '04 Pistons & '06 Heat would've made it out of the West

I think the 04 Pistons would've had trouble with the Spurs in 04.
Lakers 04, if they played again, I'm sure would do better if they were healthy. I think Karl Malone got injured.
06 Heat would have trouble against the Suns I think. But I think they would eventually win.

It's a lot more likely the Finals winner makes it than the Finals loser
obviously
Ultimately, we know for a fact that making the Finals is conference-dependant for the Finals loser (because we know they lost), while the argument is a hard one to make for the Finals winner (they didn't lose, so we must make longshot assumptions and "if's")..
quite frankly, the argument doesn't work for the winner and one must be in bizarro world to make it

Hey, i just asked a pretty simple question. Why do you have to deflect it so hard huh? :confusedshrug:

How is that a deflection?
I laid out all the historical facts showing that Lebron had a lot more help on both sides of the ball and played in very weak conference that 1-star teams were routinely winning, while Jordan had lottery help and played in a super-team conference
How is that deflecting?
You're deflecting this historical record of lebron's superior help,/high seeds and weak conference that I just summarized and detailed in the previous post

Lol
The question was how many conference titles did he have without him, not why that's the case.
Go figure.

does mike get a 1st round win without king pippen?
OP? If Mike had a 6th year without Pippen could he have finally gotten out of the 1st round? Five years wasn't enough. Would 6 years be enough for Mikey?
