Looking back at their playoff run, it's honestly insane how many times they had their hearts ripped out at the end of a game

Game 1 vs. Philly: Iggy hits the GW with 2 seconds left

Game 3 vs. Philly: Young hits the GW with 2 seconds left to put Philly up 2-1

Game 4 vs. Boston: Big Baby hits the GW at the buzzer, turning what would've been a 3-1 Orlando lead into a 2-2 series

Game 2 vs. Cleveland: The one y'all are most familiar with, LeBron hits the GW at the buzzer, turning what would've been a 2-0 Orlando lead and stealing both games in Cleveland to a 1-1 series

Game 2 vs. L.A.: Courtney Lee misses a point blank lay up at the buzzer that would've won the game and tied the series at 1-1. Instead they go on to lose in OT

Game 4 vs. L.A.: With the Magic up 3 at the end of regulation, Dwight needs to hit one FT to essentially seal the win and tie the series at 2-2. Instead he misses both FT's, and Fisher goes on to tie the game with a 3 with under 5 seconds left. The Magic would go on to lose in OT, all but ending the series

My question to you guys, does any other team come close to having this many painful defeats in one playoff run?

Im so nba'd out

Best moment of my sixer fan career

no one gave us a chance vs dwight. the closest win i could say to that moment for another fan base that was in our same scenario was prolly when dj augustine hit that game-winner in game 1 vs the raptors...they prolly felt what i felt...i still wouldnt consider it the same though cause our game-winner was from a young player, who we were hoping was gonna be a star.Who we also felt like didnt get his just do....Their game-winner was from like a 10-year vet who is pretty much what he is and wasnt homegrown.

If Julius Randle hits a game-winner in game 1 vs the nets or something maybe that will be the next fanbase to feel what i felt that day

edit and this bch not being able to shoot made it even that more intense of a moment when he made that shot

Loved that team. Hedo was basically their closer and he was clutch too. Ultimately they didn't have enough.

Jokic > Dwight

as we are discovering this season. Dwight has never come close to this season Jokic level, he's a roided up Gobert.

Magic only made the finals because KG missed the playoffs and Lebum couldn't cut the mustard.

2009 had bunch of those tho. Everyone series was close or going to game 7s at the time. 2009 Cavs were wrecking teams till the Magic tho.

I remember at the time, all the nba fans online were thinking it could've been the best playoffs ever till the finals.

That Magic game winner by Big Baby was so unexpected. Last dude I though would get that shot.

Would’ve been down 3-1 I believe. Tied it up 2-2 then won game 5. Then we lost the series after being up 3-2 for the first time in Celtics franchise history.:facepalm

I wouldn’t say that playoff run was painful as a whole though. They had some that went their way too.

Game 1 against Cleveland down 2 and Lewis makes a three to put them ahead with 10 seconds left. Then in game 4 he hits a 3 to send the game to OT, where of course they won. Without those two shots they probably don’t even make the finals.

Jameer Had no business to be playing in the finals after missing the entire playoff run up to that he couldn't defend anyone and I am sure it gave the team some sort of more albums but Alston was playing fine

Has a magic fan I will agree that KG being out is the only reason they made it past the celtics. Do I was owning the calves all regular season though and we had a bunch of different guys to throw at lebron
