If Shawn Kemp was drafted by the Bulls or Lakers in 1989

Kemp came straight outta high school and wasn't a safe bet at that point. He intentionally missed workouts to fall to a good team. The Lakers were going to take him if he was available. The Bulls also liked him and had 3 first round picks but picked Stacy King @ 5 and Kemp got drafted by Seattle right before BJ Armstrong.

Would the Lakers be able to win 2 more titles or does it make the Bulls unstoppable even in 94-95.

Kemp to the Lakers. It's fun to think about, but no, I don't think he would have made the difference against the rising Pistons and Bulls teams.

Magic still comes down with HIV, and that's too much of a burden for an aging Worthy and a young Kemp to carry. Seattle's support for Kemp in the 90's was more than the Lakers could give him, unless we start speculating about trades and free agency.
