Dennis Rodman actually got MVP votes in 1996. I mean for the season, not just the Finals.

Yep. in '96 Pippen finished 5th in MVP voting, 2nd in DPOY, and was All-NBA & All-Defensive First Team, while Rodman made the All-Defensive First Team, finished 7th in DPOY and led the league in rebounds. Oh, and Kukoc was the 6MOY and Phil won COTY

Draymond would have been favorited for FMVP if GSW won in 2016
Big Ben avg 14 boards in 2004 Finals and held Shaq to 20pts in gm3 to put Pistons up 2-1, then 20pts again closeout gm 5. And Shaq shot 64%fg that series, Wallace was just denying him from getting to his spots

Cuyahoga Community College finest, that Detroit team was loaded with defensive specialists up and down. Haven't seen D of Pistons and 08 Celtics caliber since
gm 3

Goes to show how MJ was able to elevate drug addict/alcoholic/trainwreck Rodman and career choker, mental midget Pippen to MVP status. Truly incredible if you ask me. That Bulls team probably misses the playoffs without MJ.

2003-04 was a really weird season for Ben Wallace.
He ended up winning the ring, but was robbed of two individual awards that should've been his.
First he lost the DPOY to Ron Artest, even though he averaged 3.0 blocks and 1.8 steals, had the most defensive win shares in a season since 1973, and had nothing less than the greatest defensive rating of all time that season:

Then he lost the Finals MVP to Chauncey Billups. Not that Artest wasn't great defensively or Billups didn't have a great finals, but the data indicates that Big Ben should've won both of these awards.
Oh yeah, and Dennis Rodman should've obviously won the Finals MVP in 1996 over that turd Michael Jordan shat out during the 1996 finals, topped off by 5-19 shooting in the championship clinching game 6.

You must have down syndrome. Did your Mom drink heavily while pregnant with you?

Are you a real human being or a bot programmed to make corny pregnant mother-substance abuse jokes?

I'm legit 50-50 on that. In case you are a human being go watch some Dave Chappelle or old Richard Pryor clips to get some comedic inspiration.

Exactly. Jordan elevated Rodman to 3 finals appearances and 2 championships between 1988 and 1990.
