Usually I troll about Rudy but being the best player on the title front runner is nothing to joke about. His value is definitely being undersold on here at times. I expect the jazz to win the finals this yr, this team fits him perfect. It's on him to lead them since hes the best player so its a massive joke job if they dont make the finals or play 7 great games against the Lakers in the conf finals. Its time we give rudy some respect but also time we stop infantilizing him and pretending if the team doesnt succeed its on somebody else

They're the best combination of cohesive and healthy, so they should win it all.
A few things:
Mitchell can't go hero ball in the playoffs
Bojan can't shit the bed
Gobert has to be his regular season self and not get outworked by Jokic, Capela, etc

The Lakers were pre-season favorites to win the title, and remained as favorites even after the Harden trade. So yeah, theres no excuse if Lakers dont win it all.

No one is saying that he's terrible at defending the perimeter but he's not in the same tier as guys like Simmons and Jrue Holiday who are tasked with guarding the opponent's best perimeter player every night

Yeah, Donovan has to stop the hero ball. Bogey needs to play defense like he did in the second half yesterday. He doesn't have to be a great defender, but if he can be mediocre rather than bad, we will be fine

Nope the Jazz had +4000 odds at winning the title to start the season. Wait until there are close playoff games and the other teams have true offensive superstars.

I'd take the Clippers and Lakers over them. On top of their experience, I like both teams 1-2 punch better.
Utah's had a nice regular-season, though, no doubt. #1 seed, top 3 in ORTG and top 4 in DRTG. Overall #1 in Net Rtg. They're going to be a tough out for anyone.

yep. Same injury that kept him out a month 3 different times in the regular season. Can see the brace on his knee. Got hurt 17 seconds into game one of the playoffs. Missed that game and the next two. Wasn't the same when he came back. Wouldn't have been playing in the regular season for a month. But you and Manny enjoy that clip from 4 years ago :roll:
