The Clippers, with a well-chronicled need for a playmaking upgrade, are exploring trade routes to acquiring New Orleans' Lonzo Ball before next Thursday's NBA trade deadline, league sources say.

Draft-pick limitations complicate any Clippers pursuit and would likely require a three-team (or more) construction ... but they have six days to keep working the market in search of a difference-making trade.

Honestly would be a GREAT pickup for them.

He's a free agent this off-season and reports are he's not going to resign, his dad even said publicly that he wants Lonzo traded. So they don't want to just lose him for nothing. Clippers can more likely convince him to resign this off-season if they win the title.
