ben wallace still holds the record for BEST defensive-rating & defensive winshares (2004).

pistons allowed the fewest points that year (tied with the spurs). ben also led the league in playoff impact (real +/-) & had the best splits. just a dominant display of defense throughout. funny thing too is that he wasn't far off in 2005 either.
any other names that come to mind?
