What does indefinitely mean? Probably he is out for the season.

Until further notice.

Its a high ankle sprain though, so he will be back for the season.

"Indefinitely" usually means career ending. I'm sorry, but James might have just played his last game. :(

He'll be back in 2-3 weeks is my guess. Lakers have no need to rush him.

Sucks for the Jazz or Suns. The lakers will probably fall to 7th or 8th seed for the month lebron is out. They will be playing a championship-caliber(#1 overall seed caliber) team in the 1st round...Tooty is doomed to get manhandled by AD in the 1st round

With him and AD out for at least a month it'll be hard to see this team have HCA throughout the playoffs, that Clippers series going to be HCA for Lakers no matter but it could make a difference for the other teams especially in the finals

Prayers up for a top 15 or so player of all time, you hate to see it

Lakers will probably trade for a player before the trade deadline if Lebron is going to be out extended time. With no fans home court advantage is not that big of a deal.

The term 'indefinitely' is kinda worrying tbh

I hope you follow Kobe in the after life. The man is dead but his fantard are still alive and trolling.

"indefinitely" means that there's no exact date of his return.
recovery from a high ankle sprain it can take up to 6-8 weeks to return to normal activity, but can sometimes take even longer. A general rule of thumb is that bones take roughly six weeks to heal while soft tissues (e.g., ligaments) take around three months to heal.

But I think Lebron is just faking it lol
He'll be back before you know it.

There are dudes actually celebrating an injury, and every single one of them is an alt.
This forum has always been pretty bad since I joined, but it’s just pure shit now.

I'm just curious where the mods on this forum draw the line. Like would they even 24-hour suspend a guy who makes fun of Kobe's death, makes troll threads that the helicopter pilot who crashed was a great pilot, etc.

depends on the severity

a high sprain can be very debilitating, for the NFL it's a long stretch if they have to declare it, I used to scoff when they said the handful of weeks...

had one myself a few years ago, in tandem with a fracture, the fracture was stable and weight-supporting with an air cast, so the sprain was the concern; this took months to get back to normal, way worse than a lower sprain; the high sprain can get into the bones and the calf muscle at connecting spots

it's nasty

yeah it's quite painful and LeBron could be out until the playoffs but treatment and stretching everyday will help it heal faster. the best docs are on it.

Yup, L's in way better shape with better treatment and a severe goal of getting ready for the playoffs

but these days they downplay the situation, calling something a "calf sprain" when it's clearly more severe

hope he's back for the playoffs so i can cheer against him heartily

Why are you guys acting as if Lebron is done for the season? Hes surely coming back before the playoffs start, most likely just out for 2-3 weeks. If theres anything for Lebron and Lakers fans to be concerned about, its AD's health since he may not be able to play again until next year, at least not playing without limping.

If you look close enough, you could actually see the moment when Bron snapped his knee in half. The blood stain all over his socks then becomes very obvious.

I'm sorry guys. They'll probably have to put Bron down, much like they do with horses after they break a leg.

AD would win 50+ with this team if healthy

He won 48 in New Orleans and he's a much better player now

LeBron has been injury prone during his Lakers run if you think about it.

1st year - groin and misses half the season

2nd year - took like 4 months off in between season because virus, so he got lucky

3rd year - high ankle sprain out indefinitely

Anytime Davis isn't around, he claims he's injured.

1 of those 3 has absolutely nothing to do with an injury :lol

Indefinitely means they don't have a timetable for LeBrons return. He'll probably have his ankle examined by a couple of specialists on Monday, get some idea about his treatment options before he has an idea of how long he'll be out. The injury happened on a Saturday night, I'm surprised they already have x-rays and an MRI.

Depending on the severity of the sprain, LeBron could be back as quickly as two weeks from now, or he might miss three months or longer.

What does indefinitely mean? Probably he is out for the season.

Klay Thompson played with a high ankle sprain in the 2018 NBA Finals. He missed zero games.

It prevented the injury from happening, smart guy. That's my point, he's too old to handle a full season anymore unless you give him a 4 month break in between.
