Dennis still averaged 14 rpg for the Mavericks. I though the Lakers would sign him in the 2001 nba season, but they instead signed Horace Grant who's 4 younger than Rodman.

Because Dennis was a nightmare to deal with off the court with his antics and also on the court at the time he was not doing much besides stat-padding rebounds so I can why teams didn't want to deal with him anymore after his time at the Mavericks.

Jordan\Pippen\Phil all put him in check, everybody else hated him. Also his post bulls days he sucked and couldn't play defense anymore.
Look at his on\off on defense with mavs: Rodman ON: Mavs hold teams to 115.5 offensive rating
Off: Mavs hold teams to 107.9 offensive rating
Very small sample size but 115.5 is embarrassing level defense for that era. I still think he's the greatest rebounder in NBA history but his post bulls days were a disaster, especially in dallas.

Mr Fonzworth followed me into this thread, read this post and is now contemplating whether to respond or ignore it.
