I see a lot of people who haven't had any kid yet but are excited about having them someday. It's hard to relate to that feeling because I don't feel any fondness towards my future kid today. Right now I view them as a burdensome stranger because I don't feel any relation to them yet and yet I know they will cost me a pretty penny and a lot of headache for the rest of my life. Of course, once I have a kid, I might grow to love him so much and it'll be all worth it but that's beside the point.

To the fathers on ish, what did you feel before you had any kid? To the non fathers, how do you view your potential future kid?

There's no describing the feeling of looking down and seeing literally a mini you
