Lets be real, only a matter of time before he leaves.

Heck no. He's a franchise player, along with Brandon Ingram. Pelicans organization isn't letting either of them go. Both of these guys going to win multiple chips with New Orleans.

Why does it have to be the lakers when it could be any other teams as well?

Faker fans think they can have any player they want. ESPN, David Stern, Adam Silver spoiled those fools.

I would have more respect for Zion if he left New Orleans.

It may not be what the Pelicans want, but did that matter with Anthony Davis?

we'll see, he will have to get LeBron's permission first.

You're right, it doesn't have to be the Lakers. But if he ends up becoming one of the best players in the league, there's a decent chance of it happening. The Lakers and the greatest players in the game just have a way of ending up together a lot more than regular chance would allow. You can't have everyone, but look who ended up coming to the Lakers even though the Lakers didn't draft them: Mikan, Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, Kobe, Gasol, Howard (this didn't work out the first time, but still everyone wanted him in 2012), and now both Lebron and Anthony Davis. All except Howard in 2012 resulted in Championships. Other teams just don't have this kind of luck.

I don't know if it will be Lakers per say, but he will definitely move to a bigger market team at one point. And Lakers are as good of a guess as any as to which big market team that will be.

No thanks.
Zion is likely going to start getting leg injuries, and then swiftly decline from there.
In other words, he’d be a great Celtic. :D
