Not only is this an act of desperation it’s going to make people more determined to vote early, and in bigger numbers. It’s also going to effect elderly Republican voters that vote by mail. Imagine arresting someone for giving out a water bottle or banana :biggums:

Well, that's because it started being used as political campaigning. I don't know if you've ever voted before but there is a cutoff of where campaigners cannot cross. Generally for water, pens etc. there's an exception but that's because it was not campaign material.

While I don't think they should stop giving out of snacks and water, they should ban party-funded/materialized ones.
