Will A.I. destroy all of the human art? I just watched a 2021 version of Eminem's My Name Is. It sounded pretty close to reality. I'm worried about how A.I. technology will destroy what it means to be a human. What will basketball be like in the future? What if everyone can just take a pill that makes you a perfect shooter? Or gives you the speed that you need? How will we compete anymore? It will be like in The Matrix. Neo learns how to fly a helicopter in seconds.
How will life be interesting if everything is just run by A.I.? In the future, there might not even be relationships anymore. People might just have sex with robots. You see how social media is ruining the human experience. Just imagine how bad it can get if every aspect of our life is augmented. It almost feels like we're going through something similar with Covid right now. Very inhuman-like.

I'm scared of that company Boston Dynamic. And their robot dogs.

What is inevitable: Robots in the Military.
What we should not allow: Robots in the Police Force.

I don't think AI is replacing artists anytime soon unless you think these are any good :oldlol:

A.I is going to ruin the world for the next generation. A lot of jobs are going to disappear.
Prepare for universal income.

First, I will say that a computer doing a version of "My Name Is" doesn't really bother me. There are probably a million humans out there who could record a version of that song that would sound "pretty close to reality". I'll start worrying when a computer is developed that is capable of composing an original song and that song becomes insanely popular with human beings.
Secondly, your worries about sports are unfounded. Sport adapts and survives. 60 years ago, a sports columnist would write about how the new breed of players was ruining the game. They've given up cigarettes for "health reasons". They don't go to bars and get smashed every night while they're on the road. They're starting to be more careful about what they eat. And some of them are actually making so much money playing a game that they don't have to work a second job in the off-season! Sports can't go on much longer if these trends continue! If someone takes a pill that makes them a perfect shooter, someone else will take a pill that allows them to block every shot. Or they'll make the pill illegal, or change the size of the basket, or make some other adaptation. Sports is too big of a business to just go away.

That will be difficult. Imagine a day where there are no warehouse workers, truck drivers, taxis / uber, cashiers, waiters, reception / admin staff, call centers, sales reps, etc.
Take it a step further. There will be no need for lawyers, pharmacists, doctors. As A.I. gets smarter, itll be able to create it's own programming.. so no need for programmers.
Literally every single job can be replaced.
