Bucks and Clippers will be tough. Heat are so so. The other two are very beatable. I think they could go 2-3 again in those 5 games. I don't think they'll fall any lower than about the 6th seed until help arrives. But honestly even then they don't need to go all out for a higher seed. Surely they aren't shitting their pants to face a team like Phoenix or even Utah in the 1st round.

i always liked Andre, the man played his game his whole career. Never tried to do things outside of his role Ex. start chucking 3s.
Unfortunately for him, the game evolved past bigs.
Even though the lakers added him I don't think they're anywhere near as good as the Nets, but they do have a better chance against the clips but i'd consider them the underdogs.

Drummond hasn't even played a game yet. All they need him to do is rebound and play defense. If he does that, which he's shown he can do, LA will stay afloat.

Not with AD.
Drummond gives LA better rebounding, better defense and a little more scoring. An upgrade over Gasol doesn't make them worse. :confusedshrug:

Again, AD is coming back in less than 2 weeks. Look at their schedule. 5 games from now isn't a ways away.

Anthony Davis isn't 100% and has trouble carrying teams, plus James isn't healthy; is getting older every year, it might be to late for this team to gel together on offense & defense because they have tough playoff teams next; they can't beat anybody because of these new players don't have team chemistry.
Can James carry the load the next couple of games until Davis wakes up ? we will see.

I think he has enough left in the tank to drag them into the play in but they aren't seeing the second round as currently constructed. Could also miss the playoffs of course. But we should wait until we see what they do by trade deadline before we write the epitaph. They do still have two likely Allstars, even though James isn't the player he used to be.

When you go from holiday to Lillaird you change the nature of your team. They may be a little worse but you can't completely judge them until the postseason and they lost in the first or second round so they are likely to do just as well or better.

The Lakers downfall was trading for Westbrook. If you look at the guys they had (Kuzma, KCP, Caruso) they are exactly the type of guys they need now, good role players.
