What fans don't understand is that a bench player like Scal can do all the moves Kobe did, just slower. It's not like they cant fade, crossover, and shoot hook shots. They just can't do it as fast as someone like Kobe. They think all they can do is stand in the corner and shoot 3 pointers.

If you're gonna call an ex NBA player out for 1v1, don't call out big guys like Scal. This is because they are just too tall and strong for the regular guys. Look at how Scal just bump him like he's nothing. In 1v1, you can make up a difference in speed by backing down but a difference in height and strength is much harder to overcome.

Making it to the NBA means you're in the top 1% of best players in the world regardless if you're a scrub in the NBA. I read a quote from Scal about the average player, saying "I'm closer to LeBron James than you are to me". Really speaks volumes how good you have to be to make it to the NBA.

Really agree with you guys. Some people don't realize how good you have to be not just to reach the NBA, but to even reach the G-League.

Scalabrine used to be a GOAT Nets meme back in the early 2000's. They used to break him out once in a while, and just let him put in work. Everybody was always amazed that this pudgy ginger guy could take over a stretch of a game.

This is against the peak Championship 2004 Detroit Pistons defense in a playoff game....
