Come to think about it, Lebron and his teams have performed below expectation for the last 3 finals. The 2017 Cavs were supposed to give the Warriors a series, it was expected to go 6 games but the Cavs lost in 5. The 2018 Cavs were supposed to win at least one game against 2018 Warriors(for comparison, Spurs w/o Kawhi and Pelicans won 1 game against that Warriors team), and they were swept. In 2020 the Lakers were heavy favorites and expected to win in 5 games(and sweep the series after the Heat lost Dragic/Bam), and that series went to 6 games. You may argue that he played only slightly below expectation, but its still not normal considering this happened 3 years in a row.
