Also has to be retired so that doesnt include players that are still playing but has been traded/removed from your team.
For the Pacers it has to be Derrick Mckey because they obviously have trouble guarding big wing players and Heavy D was 6'10" and a 2x all defense team member. Very smart all around player too so he would easily adapt to whatever the Pacers are trying to do.

Raja Bell.
really quite a few players from the Nash era Suns squads would fit well on the current Suns team.

Always liked Raja Bell especially in Utah. Classic tough as nails guard that would compete hard every night.

Probably Larry Hughes. Philly's defense would be even more insane throwing him in the lineup.
Donyell Marshall "played" for Philly when he was washed, but him in his prime would be a perfect fit next to Embiid & Simmons.

Shane Battier. Could slot him in to almost any team in the league and he'd make them better. Smart. Excellent defender. Can shoot the three. Willing to do the dirty work. Doesn't need to have his ego fed. He'll work within whatever system there is.

For the Nets Marcus Camby. Defense would improve tremendously.

Hard to believe some of those guys mentioned were never allstars. I actually thought Drazen made it as with Larry Hughes and Camby.

bucks got him Jeff Teague --- dude used to rip the Bucks to shreds ...now we have him as a backup to Jrue!!!

I thought Drazen made it too without checking. It’s gotta be him or Strickland. Probably Drazen considering what the league is all about now. Not many people would get Reggie Miller to admit they were a better shooter than he was. And he had a lot of in between and driving game too.
Derek Mckey is a great pick as well though. Brent Barry too if we eliminate the guys who were all star level but technically didn’t make it like Drazen, Rod, Derek Harper and so on. I’d love Clippers or Bulls Brent Barry back.

Non allstar, that's a pretty good question. I'm pretty happy already with the potential death lineup of Rondo\Beverly\George\Kawhi\Ibaka.
If i had to add one more non allstar missing piece, i think it would be Lamar Odom and start him at Power Forward.

Better than Seattle Brent?

He had matured into a better point guard but I have to admit I loved young wild Brent. Kinda like Jason Williams. Miami Jason won a ring and played mature ball....set the tempo....old school point. But it’s hard not to love the White Chocolate version.

He was an all star back when Hawks won 60 games in 16.

I would've said Andrew Bynum but he made one all-star presence

Agree with Jason Williams, he got undeserved criticism in his Sacramento days.
In Seattle Brent was a killer off the ball too. And he had quick hands in the passing lanes plus I'm always a fan for guards that push the tempo.
Some are saying Rod Strickland in this thread and even though I'm a fan of his I have to give the nod to Hawks Jason Terry. He was an All-Star in every sense of the word but didn't get in. If he was on the Hawks now they would be fringe contenders. A shame the team wasn't any good though.
Danny green
Interesting but the op says former non-allstar players.

Yes, by 'former' op meant retired players that never had allstar appearances in their careers, not the current ones who didn't have allstar selections a few years ago. E.g. players like siakam, lavine, jaylen brown, etc.
