Since getting hurt at the start of the season he is only averaging 19.5 ppg. He should be averaging at least 24 ppg.

This is why stats are overrated. He's been great this year. He also dosn't need to dominate the ball which allows for optimal team play but a bit less stats.

Since when do PG's need to average 24ppg?

Dumb

Dumb post. Where the hell is 24ppg coming from to make it as a baseline? Morant has been playing well this year regardless of ppg. Too fixated on stats.

Not sure what y'all hating on, if Ja would be averaging 24 ppg on the same SP he'd definitely be a higher tier of a player.

This. I think he's going to bounce back next season ala Iverson in 1998-99.

He dosn't need to score 24 pts a game. He's alot like cp that way. Cp has more impact than alot of 24 pt scorers. Ja is the same.

Name a point guard under 6 ft who won a title other than Thomas.

Will Morant? Probably not

He needs to dunk a bit lesser if he wants a better longevity for the rest of his career.
