Like, it’s probably gonna happen.

They’ll have HCA. They have size. Elite shooting. Elite foot speed. Elite rim protection. Very good passing. Very high BBIQ. Fantastic coaching and Snyder thrives on adjustments.

Nobody has really paid attention to them but every playoff run in the Gobert era they always play about the same level as in the RS. They’ve never had a dominant RS team per say but always good and they’ll win a series and lose to teams they’re supposed to lose to.

This year they’re rare territory as far as performance. TOP 3 offense and defense.

Conley has quietly spent his last several playoff runs on superstar level.

They don’t have to deal with Curry/Harden live dribble shooting. Lebron is not by any means gonna exploit Gobert like them.

Really Gobert is the scariest LeBron defender yet. LeBron at 25 was maybe athletic enough to just overwhelm Gobert but Lebron’s finishing style is just nothing Rudy can’t handle. All the shoulder dips and the brakes and using angles? Cute? But Gobert is not cute. He’s a damn freak and the rareness of how good Curry/Harden are has made people underrate him. They’re gonna smash the hell out of everybody man.

It’ll be fun and exciting and people will create stupid ideas about how and why Utah is dominating the playoffs but the simple fact is they are just loaded with really good players. They’re not like 14 SA either, they’re really much more modern and in their own thing.

They are a very good team. I would say the modern day 2009 magic?

Ty lue will target bogi a lot and Rondo/Kawhi will put gobert in pick and rolls and pick and pops and destroy him. I hope its a conference finals though because they would be tough 2nd round.

They don't have experience. They literally do not know what it takes.

Experience isn't required but when you go up against a loaded team that does have that experience you will be at a significant disadvantage - especially in crunch time - and it won't matter what you did in the regular season.

The Jazz are just as likely to get swept by the Lakers as anything else. Or lose 4-1. Don't be surprised if that happens.

Outside Gobert and Favors they lack size at least size that the coach is smart enough to actually put on the court. Snyder thrives on adjustments? Why didn't he make any against Denver last year when Denver went big?

Gobert won't be their problem. Bojan might but hopefully COTM is smart enough to bench him. Mitchell will be the target and they won't bench him

can't see anyone sweeping them or even 4-1

If Brooklyn is healthy, Utah cannot beat them.

Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Blake Griffin, and Lamarcus Aldridge.

Utah are loaded they have 3 all stars plus a cast of great role players like Ingles,Royce and Clarkson

Absolutely no excuses to at least get to the finals this year

The Clippers, Nuggets and Luka might have something to say about that.

They can play with those teams as they've already shown. Dallas certainly couldn't play with them earlier in the year

There is always a team that plays great in the regular season because they are a regular-season team. For example Bucks last year.

Utah gonna do what Utah been doing for 2 decades. Great regular season team and weaksauce in the playoffs. Also...anyone who thinks they have a chance vs Nets (barring injury) is delusional

Kawhi/George are the Jordan/Pippen of this era. Unfortunately for you, the end result would be similar to the 1997/1998 finals in my opinion. Do you think this current jazz team is better then the 1997/98 ones?

Forget the nets, the west in itself is going to be wild.

last time they had a regular season comparable they were in the finals. Unlike the Nets they play both ends of the floor

Hard to say. More well rounded certainly and probably better coached. Better defensively. Malone a better go to guy. Conley is probably better than Stockton at this stage of their games. Gobert is what Sloan and others mistakenly thought Tag should be. O'Neale is better than Russell. Favors better than Collins. Ingles better than Eisley. Clarkson worse than Shandon Anderson. Horny better than Mitchell. Antoine Carr better than Bojan. Niang better than Chris Morris. No team they face as good as the Bulls

Ingles has owned George

Clippers had the best record in the west until Paul George's foot injury and he sat out multiple weeks. Their only problem has been health or they would be the 1st seed right now I think.

Playoff rondo is the best passer in the league (47.8 assist % since 2012). Lakers had a 120 offensive rating when rondo was on the floor during title run.

Kawhi 732 point title run enough said

Paul George the perfect sidekick with kawhi by his side

Beverly lockdown defender on Mitchell

Rim protectors ibaka and Zubac

This team is stacked when healthy, I don't think you would be able to beat them 4 times but we'll see.

Maybe they would. Having depth is part of it all though. Conley, Mitchell, Ingles and Favors all missed multiple games for the Jazz and they won most of them. They've shown they can play with the Clippers

Hope to see you in the west finals, would be a great series. Not having Lou/Harrell who were -16.5 in
187 minutes will be huge, especially if rondo/ibaka play like they have in the past.

Don't worry Gobert alone is enough on the size end of things. He's really one of the best centers. It's just the age old problem of "does Utah know how to win in the playoffs"? I've picked them to go at least one series farther the last few seasons, but they just can't seem to get it done. Even as a die-hard Lakers fan, I think it's good for the NBA that superteams don't always win the title.

Against some teams it's enough. Against others it probably isn't. Small backcourt. No PF that COTM cares for. Other players that play small like Bojan and Mitchell
