View Full Version : Remember, 2016 was a carry-job, so Kyrie is nothing - don't act like he's good now

He wasn't good help for lebron, so he's trash for KD too

Let's be consistent here

Irving and Ty Lue are both offensive geniuses. Lebron is back to leading 18th ranked offenses this season.

Kyrie was by far the second best player on the 2016 Cavs. He isn't anywhere close to being the second best player on these Nets.
Meanwhile Scottie Pippen had his best seasons when Jordan retired in cowardly fashion.

That was 5 years ago. He's in his prime now.

2016 cavs offense when Lebron is on court: 118.2
2016 cavs offense when Irving is on court: 119.1

Now he demaded a trade from you and you're crying to Curry at the allstar game to replace him. Even though you already have anthony davis. Lebron is a piece of shit.

Nets are the most stacked team ever

If LeBron somehow beats them (which he obviously won't) he's automatic GOAT no more discussion

OP has a point, either Irving is nothing in both 2016 and 2021, or hes a superstar in both years. You cant act like hes one of the big three as a Nets player, but a role player in Lebron's team. This is double standard lol.

If anything, Kyrie was better when he was a cavalier. Now, it seems his mind is everywhere.

He's going to give KD similar problems i.e. injured, not available, won't pass, won't defend, pout, etc.

Remember, Kyrie was the GOAT 2nd option in 2016, don't act like he's not good now

Kyrie was 2nd best player in Cleveland. He's 3rd best player now in Brooklyn. He's in his peak years now. He wasn't in Cleveland. If this team is comparable to Cleveland that means Durant+Harden=LeBron.

Kyrie was good help.

Just not the all time great level of help Pippen was.

Why can't both Kyrie and Pippen be good?

Never seen a LeBron fan here say Kyrie wasn't good in 2016. Just making up shit doesn't help your case.

Because prime Pippen = 13' Wade and that's nowhere near Kyrie

Yet both never made the finals in the last decade without kong

Those are the stats

Pippen never dominated, never "took over", and never played at an all-time level... Ever

He never reached the level that Worthy, Dominique, KJ, McHale, Kyrie, AD, Wade, or Love and many others reached

Kyrie's offensive rating in the 2015 playoffs: 120
Kyrie's offensive rating in the 2016 playoffs: 117
Kyrie's offensive rating in the 2017 playoffs: 116
Kyrie's offensive rating in the 2019 playoffs: 98

What happened? Why the huge sudden drop? :confusedshrug:
After he left the Cavs, Kyrie literally couldn't have ended up on a team better than the Celtics, in terms of him being the #1 guy on the team and still having a talented supporting cast around him. But instead of winning, he choked like Kawhi against the Nuggets.

Right so that means mj and 1-9 is excused? Or does this only apply when it suits your narrative
