If LMA and Blake really still have that juice it is over lol. I think they just got discouraged being on shitty teams. Now they know they'll have huge opportunity in the playoffs.

He's much better than Blake and DJ bro. :cheers:
If he hits his first couple shots and gets fed early and continues to get fed, he'll go nuclear - and contrary to what some on ISH tell you, he can play some D too.
They should know to feed Aldridge as he abused Harden's teams for years. :D

Gotta love it when players tank their value and quit just to go ring chasing. I guess it's the equivalent of working half-assed at your 9-5 only hoping that they fire you because you hate it there :lol been there, done that :pimp:

He played well tonight, its nice to see that he can attract double-team and this wont be pretty for the opponents if we have the big three on the floor when they trouble to double Aldridge.

Other teams are in trouble if they feel the need to double team Aldridge. He is just going to keep backing his defender down. If they double he will pass for wide open 3. If no help comes he will just do a fadeaway against his defender.

I hope we can retain him in summer and he will take the David West role on the 2017 and 2018 Warriors.

I had my doubts, but yeah: This Nets team should definitely be mentioned with the 2016-18 Warriors, the Durant-Westbrook-Harden-Ibaka Thunder and the Garnett-Pierce-Allen Celtics in terms of stack-ness.

The Lakers have better rosters, you need to calm down about it and accept the fact that its ring or bust for Lakers and Lebron this year. Lakers were pre-season #1, and remained as #1 after Harden trade:

Yeah I know you dont buy into the idea of pre-season odds, but the Lakers were still favorites in January after Nets got Harden, theres no excuse now.

2011-2013 Heat, 2017-2019 Warriors and 2021 Lakers were better teams, though some of them dont win the title because of injuries and Lebron system holding back teammates.

5 all stars + Dinwiddie (pretty much an all star so 6 all stars), best shooter in the league Harris, solid veteran Jeff Green, NBA champion Iman Shumpert and a bunch of solid role players like 3 point sniper Landry Shamet.
Yeah.

Every bookie in the country has the shamelessly over-stacked Nets as the clear favorites to win the title. :oldlol:
LeBron prevailing against these odds would raise his status from GOAT basketball player to GOAT anything ever.

He and AD have to stay on the floor for any chance of that to happen.
Kevin Durant is the Nets best player. If teams can't beat Harden and Irving as is, they definitely aren't beating the Nets with top 5 player and best shooter of all-time Durant.

Yeah.
Actually, they do already have 6 players who are or used to be all-stars:
Durant
Harden
Kyrie
Blake
Aldridge
DeAndre
I'm not going to troll and say that some of these players aren't over the hill, but I'm sure that some LeBron haters will try to troll and try to make it look like those same players are washed scrubs who are useless, when that's clearly nowhere near the case. This Nets team is just stacked beyond belief. How on earth can you brag or feel good about winning a championship with something this stacked? :oldlol:
LMA attracting double will surely benefit Net's shooters

The Lakers were favorites after the Nets traded for Harden, and now they suddenly are behind. You know why? 'cause the Nets are currently on a hot stretch while Lakers played poorly, the odds fluctuate to adjust for recent forms. However, recent forms have very little to do with how good the rosters actually are. This is why I only use pre-season odds to judge which teams had the best/most talented rosters, since they are able to filter out things like recent forms, injuries/recoveries, HCA, etc.

You are insecure. You are building a case that you will win no matter what. If Nets win, you can say "I was right! We upset them, LeBron SUCKS & holds back teammates!" If Nets lose the chip, you can say "I was right! We stood no chance!"

Oh you are funny and full of drama. I never thought about this way, and in fact whether the Lakers or Nets won, would not change the fact that Lebron holds back teammates and make his all-star teammates unable to perform at their expected level. This is a fact that has been proven years ago and theres no need to prove it again over a finals series that we dont even know which teams will make it.
And come to think about it, what you said above was exactly what Lebronstans have been doing over the last few years. Lebron's Heat/Cavs beat Spurs/Warriors, its all because of Lebron and he beat superteams. Lebron lost in the finals, then its all his teammates' fault and that the superteams were impossible to beat. Its ironic that suddenly the perpetrators are depicting themselves as victims now, and taking words out of my mouth.
:lol
For myself, I am just tired of all the nonsense and hatred we've received from the signing of Griffin and Aldridge. People complain and rant about us without realizing that the Lakers signed a prime all-star Drummond for free. Isnt this double standard? And I hate hypocrite who cant use the same standard. Its fine if you say we are both superteams, but to say the Nets are superteams and ruining NBA while Lakers get a pass, is utter bullshit.

Nets and Lakers would be similar if LeBron/Davis were able to acquire another big star like steph curry or Bradley Beal. Drummond is not on that star level.

Indeed the Nets also have the better role players that mind you can shoot lights out, unlike the Lakers who have the utterly inconsistent Kcp and Matthews.

Drummond is a prime all-star putting up 17/13 before joining the Lakers, hes not like Aldridge and Griffin who are old ex-stars that can only play 20 mins a game to be effective, hes going to average 30-35mpg. But anyway, lets analyze the rosters up to 10 men rotation on each team.
Lebron = Durant
Davis = Harden
Drummond = Irving
Shroder > Harris
Kuzma > Green
Harrell > Aldridge
Pope > Shamet
Gasol < Griffin
Morris < Claxton
Carouso = Brown
So the Lakers have 4 players slightly better than the Nets, 2 players slightly worse, and 4 players on the same level. Its quite evenly matched but Lakers have a slight edge, the odds after Harden trade also had the Lakers favored by a little. Not saying this is a significant disparity, but at least its not the other way around. You may argue that its Lakers slightly favored, or the two are evenly matched, but at least Lakers are nowhere near an underdog.

Drummond = Irving?? :roll: :roll:
If the 2 were equal, another team would have easily picked up Drummond while going through the 48hr waiver process. Every single team had a chance to pick him up for only $27mill, which is a bargain for a Kyrie-caliber star. Yet not a single GM in the nba across all 30 teams picked him up or even discussed picking him up off the waivers. Not a single team.
Be careful throwing around that opinion. You will be laughed at.
Spurs are fighting for a playoff spot, and they bought out Aldridge.
Harden and durant are out for tomorrow's game at chicago.
