Looking back on it, was Rondo in the right? considering Carlisle hasn't been out of the 1st round since 2011.
"F*ck off you 3PPG bench warmer, i'm top 6 in career playoff asissts, won 2 titles and i led a game 7 finals team in VORP on top of that. Now i'm about to win the title again with Clippers. Meanwhile, your team hasn't been out of the 1st round in ten years.

It’s not about who is right or wrong, it’s just that his ego and playing style ain’t suitable to Rick Carlisle’s coaching and tactics. There are players who can be serious contributor to a title winner, or cancers on a different team.

Rondo plays Lebron ball but doesn't have talent to force that style on teams.

He's a very low usage player though, so it fits perfectly with stars around him. Rondo also played 3 playoff series with Lebron and was the leader in assist % in 2\3 of them (ALPHA RONDO).

Sounds like Rick wasn't giving him much of a chance if he's yelling at him like this after like 2 weeks. It wasn't Rondo's fault that Dirk was washed up.

Jason Kidd played very well for Carlisle, he had no problems with him.
Dennis Smith JR. put up great numbers under Rick Carlisle and later people realized he was trash.
JJ Barea became a legend under Carlisle, starting in the finals. Great tactic.
The guy was even able to handle the good ol' Pacers with Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson (for some time). I don't know what happened, but it looked like Rondo was not happy to be in Dallas from the start. It was not just the coach, but also the team.
