Traditionally the most urbanized demographic. Long history of theater production/participation.

You dont see a lot of theater groups in rural America. Acting is an artsy fartsy kind of endeavor. Simply more common in city environs where jews overwhelmingly come from.

There was a Study recently that shows that the median net worth of people believing in Judaism is calculated at 150,890 USD, 3x the median net worth of the rest of the sample. To me, this tells at least part of the story why many actors/arts careers are dominated by Jewish people. As another poster mentioned, these are considered unnecessary by many people from lower financial classes, and realistically it is. Kids of parents with money can afford to spend 50k/semester at NYU or the like or even before that having extra time/money to spend on extracurriculars in gradeschool. People from higher SES are going to get more opportunities for success if they got someone else paying their rent and shit in LA or NY or even some overseas program. It's no wonder most people in Hollywood come from at least middle class if not upper class.
