LeBron had more All-NBA than Jordan and was better scorer/passer/defender/producer.
So there's no argument for Jordan over LeBron and the winning spotlight simply inflates Jordan in the all-time rankings
this PROVES that Jordan is overrated by the winning spotlight
LeBron even destroyed the Greatest team 73 win team of all time in 2016.

1 title in 11 years for the franchise that drafted him and he had Shaq as well and couldn't win while Wade with Shaq won and Kobe with Shaq won 3 titles. Also embarassed the United States of America winning bronze medal twice and lost to a career loser in Dwight Howard with HCA.

Jordan won six out of six finals. All while playing for the very same team, keeping its standards up and integrating new teammates into the fold. Bron has bounced from team to team to team, taking advantage of the new rules that allow freer player mobility.
Did his team win the title over the 73 win Warriors? Hell yeah. Did his team also lose the title to the Mavs, in a finals where they were the clear favorite? Also yeah.
I don't hate LBJ, I think he's the second greatest of all time. But MJ was better.

Anytime you put something like PROVES, or "Argument OVER" or my favorite... "FACT x =y" on your post, it lets everyone know that you're not too sure about your position. Most people would welcome healthy debate about their beliefs, because it gives them room to expand their position further and prove the doubters wrong.
LeBron beat that Warriors team in the finals. A team which held the record for most regular season wins. Good for him, a helluva accomplishment. He also lost in the finals to the Dallas Mavericks, a team which (on paper) his team had thoroughly outclassed. Bad for him.
In the end it comes down to feelings and opinions, which stats you value and which ones you trash. I feel that MJ is the best NBA player ever, but I would not be as presumptuous as to claim that a statistic, or a group or statistics, would prove that my opinion was totally correct.

when you say that lebron is a "better" scorer than jordan, what are you basing that on?
not saying you're wrong, but i want to know your criteria.

Better at rim, better from three. Two best ways to score. I wouldn't rate LBJ the better scorer, but that's the best argument.
Point of the thread though is to highlight the flaws in 3balls Payton>Pippen thread.

Lebron is by no means a better three point shooter, his playoffs 3pt% was worse than MJ. MJ is a much better shooter than Lebron, its a different era that no one shot a lot of 3s. Put MJ in today's era and he would shoot like KD, while Lebron would be no better than Pippen as a shooter.

You sure about that? I'm seeing LeBron at .335 and Jordan at .332 for playoffs on BBRef. That's with Jordan's numbers boosted by the shortened three point line for two years.
Regular season, a much larger sample size, it's advantage LeBron .345 to .327 with Jordan again receiving an artificial boost from the shortened line.

Lebron's 3s are all wide open threes since everyone knows hes not a good shooter, while MJ and Kobe's 3s are all contested. You must believe Stephen Curry is a worse shooter than Joe Harris since the latter shoots at higher percentage.

That's not true. Go look at Jordan's shrug game against Portland. Those shots were all either wide open or only lately and half heartedly contested. He's the best player in the league, the best scorerer, he was on fire from three and dudes are 5-10 feet away from him letting him rain threes on them...in the friggen finals. 90s basketball was not what people think it was. Time distorts memories, but the video doesn't lie.
Jordan's greatness doesn't need to be embellished with BS. The truth is amazing enough.

Not when you down every year in a series at least 3-2 and lost with HCA to Dwight Howard and Rajon Rondo as well as to Dirk.
