Solid move. He can bring some nice offense off the bench for a cheap deal

A half court heave with 1 secondnon the clock. I have no expectations that this guy will be a contributor but he most likely can still score. Hoping that he realizes if he doesn't perform on both ends in Boston his next jersey won't have the NBA logo0

They needed someone to score on in practice

Stevens coaching style seems to favor overachievers this Celtics team never tried signing a borderline bust.

He'll be better than Mo Wagner that's for sure.

This guy was compared to Carmelo coming out of college. He was a star at Duke and poof...mediocre bench player now.

After Garnett the the Celtics big 3 ended, Ainge has been so underwhelming. Hasn't been willing to trade the plethora of assets he had for top end talent in the league. Got too cute trying to outsmart everything and it backfired.

Should have gotten Myles Turner for Hayward but Ainge's teams have made the Conference Finals three times since trading Garnett. That's excellent results. Trading for AD would have been foolish as he didn't want to be here. The Celtics are soon going to have the best wing duo in the league if they don't already and will have that core for the foreseeable future. Celtics are well-positioned for the future and remain a solid playoff team. Ainge has been a great GM.

Kawhi didn’t want to be in Toronto. Still got a ring out of it.

Toronto got lucky with Golden State getting hurt. Anyone with any sense knows that. Also the situations are not the same, do you have any idea what the Cs would have had to give up to get Davis? They would have had to give up 2 or three starters including at least one of and possibly both Tatum and Brown plus picks and make the money match in a way that leaves NO with cap space in the near future. Davis Hayward and Walker sound like a Championship team? All three players have had injury problems in recent history and I wouldn't bet on them even healthy.
